How Microdermabrasion Works

Skin is cleansed. Then the clinician removes the top layer of skin with a microdermabrasion machine, a motorized handheld device with an abrasive tip.

There is no pain, but you may feel a sanding sensation as the instrument is moved over skin. A pampering moisturizer is applied, and you are on your way.
